Cyber Security Lead

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides Cyber Security and IA expertise across large complex Army organization.

• Advises engineers across various disciplines in the development, implementation, and management of enterprise solutions

• Advise the Government on the integration of enterprise management and cybersecurity functions for the development of comprehensive, understandable, and executable security management tasks

• Collaborate with internal and external mission partners to facilitate cyber situational awareness and information sharing

• Coordinate with the Compliance Team to monitor and track compliance of subordinate units and other Army organizations for cyber tasking and reporting requirements

• Identifies applicable DoD, Army, and Federal Information Security Management Act requirements, including items such as, DoD IA controls, criticality, and threat. Upon identification of Regulatory requirements, the Contractor shall assist the Government in validating capability compliance

• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for all implemented cyber security activities

• Works with vendors to evaluate new products and resolve equipment design problems

• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced cyber security analysts and other technical staff

• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned

• Participates in special projects as required

• Army orders production, mission analysis, and orders compliance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Top-Secret clearance

• DoD computer security practices, policy, and framework

• Experience in providing cybersecurity advice to system engineers in the design, testing, deployment, and operation of enterprise systems

• Expert knowledge of DoD and Army cybersecurity policy, directives, and guidance

• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and an advanced understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF)

• DFAR, NIST SP 800-171, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
