The Synopsys Information Security team helps organizations transform and securely build what's next for the business.

Synopsys is seeking a Senior Cloud Security DevSecOps Engineer who focuses on DevSecOps automation and cloud security automation in multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP). This role involves leveraging AI to analyze extensive data from a variety of cloud and security tools to derive insights and to contribute to a proactive and data driven security approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize DevSecOps automation processes, ensuring seamless integration of security into the development lifecycle.

  • Design and implement robust security solutions for cloud environments in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Analyze large-scale data from security tools utilizing AI for in-depth analysis to provide actionable insights and aid in decision-making processes.

  • Automate security controls and processes in cloud environments, enhancing overall security posture.

  • Integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline to embed security in DevOps processes.

  • Evaluate and deploy advanced cloud-native security tools and technologies.

  • Work closely with IT and development teams to foster a culture of security and ensure a unified approach to cloud infrastructure security.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud security, AI, and automation, applying innovative solutions to enhance the security framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Solid experience in DevSecOps automation, cloud security, and AI in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

  • Proficiency in cloud security practices, AI for big data analysis, and automation in CI/CD environments.

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, or similar are beneficial.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to security.

The annual range across the U.S. for this role is between $135,000 - $203,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. Synopsys offers comprehensive health, wellness, and financial benefits as part of a comparative total rewards package. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
