Under limited direction, assesses the security posture of operating systems, networks, and database products.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
Assesses the security posture of various IS systems using official guidance.
Manages customer relationship with system owners and support personnel.
Ability to create and submit proper deliverables within established guidelines.
Ability to read and understand complex network topology and system architecture.
Evaluates and makes recommendations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the security program.
Performs policy review to ensure compliance of technical, managerial and policy requirements.
May assist in the assessment of cloud computing, mobile devices, and application security products.

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years work related experience directly supporting SCA-V teams and other information technology.
Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings.
Ability to travel 50% with or without reasonable accommodations
Active Security + CE certification or higher
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
Previous SCA-V experience
Experience with one or more of the following: SCAP, ACAS, Retina, DISA STIGS, and or eMASS
Experience with Army Assess and Authorize TTP
