TCI has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Architect in Washington, DC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire. SUMMARY Responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. Driving the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level. RESPONSIBILITIES The Cyber Security Architect will blend expert knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Defense-In-Depth principles to provide input to Security Authorization process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life- cycle support plans, concepts of operations, operational procedures and maintenance of training materials). Validates accuracy and applicability of technical solutions to incorporate environmental conditions with business needs.

Drives standardization of architectures for future use. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of a Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in a related field. 10 years of experience in a Cyber Security Architect role. OR 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree.

CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) CompTIA Net CompTIA A CompTIA Security Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security Certified Penetration Testing Engineer (CPTE) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Or other related certification. Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance. Local/Remote/Hybrid is allowed; MUST currently reside in the Washington, DC area.
