As a Cyber Architect for NGG, you will:

  • Define and be responsible for the Cyber Architecture requirements and design

  • Create secure architecture design and resiliency as well as participate in the development of proposals to build cyber resiliency into solutions.

  • Perform Cyber Resiliency evaluations (CRE's), including cyber table tops and penetration testing.

  • Develop thorough reports on findings with mitigation steps to fix difficult problems.

  • Be a leader in value driven Cyber Architecture team and drive design evolution in an Agile and thoughtful way.

  • Demonstrate expertise working with Linux, RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, Active Directory, Python, Shell Scripting, and Web Application.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Cyber experience or related engineering discipline with proven Cyber skills

  • Requirements identification, decomposition and allocation

  • Requirements verification/validation

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance

  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and common protocols such as SSH, HTTP/S, SMTP, RDP, DNS, S/FTP, DHCP, CIFS/NetBIOS, LDAP, and SNMP

  • Microsoft Windows, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Solaris.

  • Solid understanding of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Configuration Management as well as common services such as SCCM, IIS, Exchange, Domain Controllers etc.

  • Basic Scripting and/or Development Languages, such as Python, Shell Scripting

Come be a part of our mission! The Systems Engineering team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a DevOps/CM Engineer based out of Boulder. What You'll get to Do: Develops and maintains software configuration management tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. Responsible for building, maintaining, utilizing an end-to-end solution in the area of automated build, deployment, and monitoring. Candidate will need the ability to not only code and configure tools, but also assemble and integrate technology across disparate platforms. Good understanding of systems, modern scripting and enterprise level languages as well as open source tools to solve problems. Performs configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development. Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. May develop software configuration standards for company-wide use. May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards. Establish continuous integration (CI) pipeline to fully automate deployment of the highly available, mission critical cloud platform Create and control software large scale software baselines for operational deployment Create, maintain, and utilize scripts and templates to build cloud-based development systems Build, maintain, and utilize tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments. You'll Bring These Qualifications: Sr. Principal SW Configuration Management Eng Bachelors in Science in a STEM discipline and 9 years of relevant experience; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Experience with large scale software development * Experience with automation and configuration management * Software process automation with popular scripting languages * Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language * Understanding of Agile and other development processes and methodologies * Source, build/release, and configuration management in a continuous integration & delivery environment * Configuring and administrating DevOps servers (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Github, Jenkins, Nexus) running on Linux. * Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies * CompTIA Security Certification * Must have and be able to maintain an active Secret clearance.
