Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is actively seeking an experienced IT Security Professional to fill a role that requires a broad array of knowledge and skills working with team members to support a Cyber Security program in Elkridge, Maryland.

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with an impeccable work ethic and a strong ability to work in a collaborative fast-moving dynamic team environment. The primary team is located in Tampa, Florida with distributed team members embedded directly with the customer.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. This is achieved through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments.

Establishes strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining certification and accreditation of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits. Assist in the implementation of the required government policy, make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities.

Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports. Document the results of Certification and Accreditation activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the System Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M. Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.

Individual must have a solid understanding of the Department of Defense accreditation process and be able to operate in those environments.

The Logistics Management Analyst should have experience in supply chain management, and/or related fields, including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman's Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO) within the Mission Systems Sector, which is engaged in the evaluation, repair, and upgrade of our sustainment systems. Core responsibilities, but are not limited to: * Approaching competitive and non-competitive sourcing in request for quotations * Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders * Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources * Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution * Managing supplier quality and performance to support customer turnaround times * Managing purchase orders for legacy product and supporting program leadership with leading indicators of status and estimate at complete (ETC) timelines * Acting as liaison between company and vendors. Contacting vendors to ensure customer property and equipment are evaluated, repaired, and delivered on promised dates. Determining when deliveries may be delayed. Coordinating with purchasing, manufacturing, and other users to expedite repair requirements. Maintaining records and follow-up files of purchases, shipments, returns and related matters * Representing the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacting with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations * Analyzing and evaluating proposals. Negotiating and coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Recommending suppliers. Following up on orders placed, verifying delivery, approving payment, and maintaining necessary records * Working in a team based manufacturing environment but must be able to be self-directed Experience should include: * The candidate will have an understanding of the buyer's role in establishing business arrangements, pricing and term agreements, and import/export compliance * Familiarity with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements * Experience in a Depot environment supporting various DOD and commercial customers * Knowledge in repair material processes and placement of service purchase orders supporting multiple customers Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by Aerospace and Defense regulations This req may be filled as a Logistics Management Analyst or a Principal Logistics Management Analyst based on the qualifications below. MANUMS Basic Qualifications for a Logistics Management Analyst: * Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree * Experience in some of these: supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, manufacturing * Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. This requires US citizenship. * Proficiency in MS Office suite Basic Qualifications for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst: * Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience OR 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree * Experience in some of these: supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, manufacturing * Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
