As a Cyber Engineer/Analyst supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) client, you'll:

  • Help customers solve complex and fast-moving insider threat cybersecurity challenges

  • Play a key role in designing analytic strategies to identify risky behaviors and architecting data ingestion pipelines for the full range of enterprise data sources.

  • Regularly engage with advanced technologies such as Apache NiFi while integrating with modern SIEMs like Splunk, ArcSight, and QRadar.

You Bring

  • TS/SCI clearance with poly

  • 5+ years of prior experience in an analyst/engineer role supporting enterprise software solutions

  • Practical information security experience to bear to ensure seamless implementations, including: demonstrated knowledge of security information event management solutions, such as Splunk, ArcSight, and QRadar, as well as typical data feeds, such as web proxy logs, Active Directory logs, remote access logs, etc.

  • The ability to continually learn and update skills in quickly evolving core technologies, including Elastic, Apache NiFi, and python scripting.

Also ideal:

Experience with security COTS product integration (e.g., firewall, web gateways, Data Loss Prevention)

H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Cyber Security Tools Engineer / Administrator to provide support for a large Navy SAP HANA Cloud system. The program is implementing Splunk, Onapsis and Tripwire. The Splunk/Onapsis/Tripwire Engineer/Admin will work with the client to leverage full utility of the technologies to monitor cyber security, protect IT infrastructure, and enable rapid containment and resolution to IT security incidents. The Cyber Security Tools Administrator responsibilities will include: * Professional experience with system administration and in managing the Splunk back-end infrastructure, including maintaining Splunk queries and lookups, monitoring Splunk components. * Familiar with Splunk architecture and best practices. * Perform routine system maintenance and resolve server-side issues as they arise. * Install and configure. * Integrate Onapsis/ACAS/Web Inspect. * Integrate Onapsis user activities detection and alerting output by writing custom scripts in Onapsis and setting triggers in the Splunk correlation tool. * Monitor the tools health and performance. * Work experience with Splunk real-time processing architecture and deployment. * Splunk dashboard design experience. * Strong experience in Splunk configuration files. * Strong communication, written, and verbal skills. Qualifications: * Bachelor in an IT related concentration or commensurate years experience. * Splunk certification(s) a plus but not required. * 1+ years of at least one Splunk, Onapsis, or Tripwire Enterprise administration, configuration, and support experience. * Experience with Programming, development and scripting preferred. * Experience with a cloud environment preferred. * Positive attitude and willingness to learn additional cyber security tool functionality required.
