Job Description:
Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, deliver, and maintain information security strategies, and gain consensus across various business units.

You must have experience in a wide variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures of multiple security technologies including PKI and digital certificates, threat identification, log aggregation and analysis, data loss prevention, mobility, and cloud. In addition to having a broad range of technical skills, you should also be able to sell your ideas effectively to a technical and business audience. You should also possess Project Management and organization skills to manage and gain consensus amongst team members/departments.

Very strong customer orientation ability to work well with end-users to learn / understand specific business needs is required as well you must possess the ability to gain confidence/understanding when presenting information (security requirements and solutions). Experience selling ideas and solutions to Sr. Management to receive funding and support and consulting experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

Recommend cost effective programs to protect key assets, intellectual properties, maintain confidentiality, and satisfy regulators and internal customers.

Develop, enhance, and apply comprehensive methodology to align IT Securitys current and future structure and processes with overall business strategy.

Develop an information security framework that describes the current, intermediate, and future security architecture. The end-result is a set of reference architectures and solution architectures that is maintainable and satisfies overall security policies, regulatory requirements, risk trends and business strategy.

Create/maintain the IT Security program roadmaps and IT security technology roadmaps that incorporate the needs of various business units and affiliates.

Develop methodology to help the organizations to understand its own information risk posture and appetite.

Establish and evangelize a common language for information security within the company.

Participate, assist, and/or evaluate projects to help securely implement its objectives.

Daily Tasks Performed

Document and update strategies, roadmaps, programs and statuses based on business needs and emerging threats.

Analyze project solutions and determine the level of security needed to protect assets, satisfy company policies and regulatory requirements while ensuring that the solution fits the information security roadmaps.

Guide and communicate with Management, IT Teams, and stakeholders regarding all aspects Information Security.

Participate in the development of hardware/software/network security procedures and guidelines that support information security policies.

Educate and communicate the information, security policies, procedures, and practices at multiple levels of the organization with various levels of understanding.

Monitor industry security updates, technologies, best practices, and emerging threats.

Assist project teams to deliver secure, pragmatic, cost effective solutions.

Use critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses, solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Actively perform a wide variety of tasks across multiple teams to advocate security policies, procedures and practices, while enabling and optimizing each teams functions and deliveries.

Work closely with other domain architectures (application, data, integrations, infrastructure, and business) to coordinate policies, reference architecture, solution architectures and tooling selection.

Participate in architecture governance process and provide necessary reviews for ARB (Architecture Review Board).

Musts

BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience. Understanding of information security subjects.

Demonstrated experience in multiple facets of information security disciplines that consists of technologies, tools and processes.

Demonstrated IT experience with infrastructure configuration and management, and software development/implementation and management.

Experience in developing security strategies, programs, roadmaps, and its implementation.

Excellent critical thinking skills, facilitation skills, presentation skills and influencing skills.

Ability to review security configurations of various hardware and technologies (e.g. Firewall, VPN, Routers, IDS/IPS, DLP, scanning technologies and servers).

Experience with identifying security risks, issues, and incidents, derive root cause, and recommend countermeasure or mitigation strategy.

Business Experience

Expert level experience communicating complex security or risk concepts, cost-effective solutions, or pragmatic security initiatives using PowerPoint, to depict message within a business context.

Must be business aware and able to speak a language that management understands.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to various business cultures and situations.

Must have extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

A wide degree of latitude, creativity and tasks is expected of candidate.
