What does this role look like?
In this role, you will provide technical leadership including, but not limited to demonstrating a broad understanding of multiple technology environments along with relevant domain knowledge (e.g. Traditional and Non-traditional Technologies, Platforms, etc.) across multiple RMS programs.
You will be responsible for cyber security requirements, architecture, development, design, test and integration of systems across multiple platforms and RMS programs. Utilizing best practices to drive informed risk-based decisions regarding implementations that maintain the security and resiliency of the system.
To be successful you will need to:
Collaborate with leadership to foster a security engineering mindset when designing, developing and deploying systems.
Drive innovations and evolve technologies that enhance security.
Lead the validation of security requirements and ensure compliance with requirements, plans, and procedures.
Oversee the measurement and enforcement of security requirements to promote effective management of security baselines.
Leverage extensive expertise and advanced knowledge to ensure success of assigned activities and development of new security solutions.
This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance. US citizenship is needed.
Requires 12 or more years of direct engineering experience; preferably with increasing levels of scope and responsibility.
Broad experience across weapons platforms and programs supporting various DoD branches.
Technical knowledge in the fields of systems engineering, network design, and cybersecurity.
Demonstrated leadership supervising engineers across multiple programs and architecture baselines.
Solution scoping, planning, and program execution.
Build solid customer relationships at multiple levels
An active CISSP or CSSLP or CISM or equivalent certification
Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance or higher.
