The Leidos Defense and Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for a Cyber Analyst Programmer III.

Program Overview

Our customer has a requirement to procure and develop Cyber capabilities, leveraging the Agile Development Process. The capability suite to be developed should be tailorable to address various operating environment.

Position Summary

As a Cyber Analyst Programmer III your primary responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Leads contractor team that design and develop custom software cyber tools and techniques for operational use. These tools and techniques shall incorporate covert and stealth mechanisms that can be proven to subvert nearly all commercial computer and network security products and meet or exceed current Government "tradecraft" for computer implants and collection applications;

  • Directs the design and development of end-to-end data flow and tasking for cyber tools developed as prescribed by the Government.

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems or applicable engineering field and minimum eight (8) years of experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering;

Minimum eight (8) years of experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, and Python;

Minimum seven (7) years of experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum seven (7) years or experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments, OR seven (7) years combined Windows/UNIX experience;

Minimum five (5) years of experience managing and supervising teams in support of cyber capability development;

Minimum six (6) years of experience with programming cyber tools and techniques;

Minimum five (5) years of experience programming cyber tools for the US Government or commercial sector.

Demonstrated ability to setup and configure version control software (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.);

Demonstrated ability to debug software and troubleshoot issues;

Minimum two (2) years of experience programming techniques to evade host and/or network-based intrusion detection systems;

Minimum two (2) years of experience developing programs to capture, analyze, and interpret raw network traffic;

Minimum two (2) years of experience in network sockets programming including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols;

Minimum two (2) years of experience developing packet-level programs Expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols;

Minimum two (2) years of experience in network sockets programming;

Demonstrated expert ability in UNIX and/or Windows low-level internals including, but not limited to, the OS runtime linker/loader, object file formats (e.g. PE, COFF, ELF), file system internals (e.g. NTFS, ext2, btrfs), OS-specific mandatory and discretionary access control mechanisms, and process and thread APIs and data structures;

Minimum two (2) year of experience programming device drivers in Windows and/or UNIX variants.
