Under the overall direction of the Director, WESST, and the specific direction of the Lead Fire Brigade Instructor, this position is responsible for training delivery of Industrial Fire Brigade and other safety programs, coordination, planning, recordkeeping, and administration of customized curriculum for this department.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
SKILLS REQUIRED
Associate's degree in Fire Fighting is required.
Three to five years of practical fire-fighting experience with a municipal Fire Department is a must.
Two years or more as an educator within a fire department or other school or educational facility.
Demonstrated public speaking/instructional delivery skills.
Advanced certifications and training from Illinois State Fire Marshall's office or other accredited bodies a plus.
CPR/First Aid Instructor preferred.
Valid Illinois or other current state Motor Vehicle license required.
