CWS Order Verification Specialist

DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The CWS Order Verification Specialist will be running daily reports, answering phone calls in order to field questions from the radiology staff in order to provide accurate clinical examinations. This position will access protocols in order to verify that clinical service that is being ordered matches the diagnosis that has been provided. The specialist will also verify that the orders that have been faxed contain all the required information fro a valid order. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) Experience: Minimum of two years Radiology scheduling experience is required. Education and Training: Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience. License, Certification

Registration:

Other Requirements: Must know Radiology protocols and guidelines. Medical Terminology. Basic to accelerated computer skills a must.
