Job duties:
The Child Welfare Services Case Manager Assistant provide services to remedy abuse, neglect, and exploitation or self-neglect of adults or children unable to protect themselves. Provides assistance to Case Worker II's and Case Worker III - providing administrative and casework services in the area of assessment.
Provides or arranges transportation to resources in the community as a part of social service aide plan. Assists with the transportation of children.
Make request for educational, medical, dental, law enforcement records; conducts CLEAR search.
Participates as a member of a professional team to plan services for clients.
Make referrals to service providers; send referrals for family group conferencing.
Assist with other administrative support functions to include correspondences, copy, scan, fax, email, etc.
Participates in Red Cross training and shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Agency Requirements:
A High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.
An Associate's Degree and one (1) year of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business.

May require overtime hours to include weekends and work during natural disaster or deployment of staff in State issued emergency responses.
