JOB TITLE: CWI/NDT Level 2 Inspector
SUMMARY: Quality Control inspection and associated documentation of Process Piping systems within a cleanroom environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate compliance of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulatory Responsible for inspecting all fabricated and installed piping, mechanical equipment, skids, modular systems, and components per project specifications.
Perform all necessary testing including but not limited to Nondestructive Testing, visual and Borescope inspections, and witness all pressure tests, flushing, cleaning, and passivation of fabricated and installed pipe.
Review and approval of Quality Plans, ITPs, PQR, WPS, WPQ, inspection procedures, records for installed pipe which would include weld map log, PMI, slope checks, and traceability logs, and other associated records of installed pipe. Inspections of mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies for alignment and proper functioning, prepare reports and notify appropriate people of equipment problems and deficiencies, ensure compliance with codes and standard.
Reports of all inspections must be uploaded to the project EIDA electronic documentation system.
Responsible for ensuring that all the valves, tubing, fittings, instruments, and any components will be submitted and approved in accordance with the project drawings and specifications.
Retain records for NDE personnel qualifications / certifications to be submitted for approval and shall be available for review as necessary.
Responsible for verifying that all inspectors under the subcontractors for this project are qualified to perform the inspections they are tasked with in accordance with the project specifications.
Responsible for the initiation of any Surveillance Reports and Non-Conformance Reports and updating the Surveillance Reports and NCR log because of any adverse findings during any inspections or witnessed inspections.
Participation in turnover package documentation.
Perform periodic quality checks for all welding performed to ensure that the welding procedures submitted to the contractor are being followed.
Verify that all welders are certified to perform the work they are assigned in accordance with the project specifications and the welder qualification list.
Monitor the Subcontractors Welder Performance Qualification Record (WPQR) for welders reject rate and notify the Contractor of any trends or risks to the project.
Requirements:
Personnel must be ASNT Level II certified at minimum.
Personnel must have experience in Biopharmaceutical construction.
Personnel must have experience in Material Receiving and Material Inspections
Personnel must have proficient knowledge of all applicable codes and an understanding of how navigate for reference (BPE, B31.3 etc).
Inspection of Welded Stainless-Steel systems.
Inspection of Welded Carbon Steel Systems.
Inspection of Brazed Copper Systems.
Inspection with the use of Borescope.
Reading P&IDs for final inspections prior to testing.
Attention to keynotes.
Attention to typical details pertaining to P&IDs.
Understanding test boundaries and flow paths.
Navigating and understanding site specifications.
Experience in building Turn Over Packages and all necessary documents.
Personnel must be able to perform basic data entry skills.
Personnel must be able to pass the drug screening and background checks through LOTTEs Badging Process.
Computer skills required: MS Office, Bluebeam, PowerPoint

Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where activity inspections are needed.
