Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technician collaborates with the surgeon and RN to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Certified Surgical Technician has received education and advanced certification in following aseptic technique procedures and providing equipment and supplies based on patient and surgeon needs.

During surgery, the Surgical Technician practices under the direction of the surgeon and surgical nursing staff. Call is required for this role.
