Combat Systems Analyst, Sr- CVN Readiness

This position is Contingent Upon Customer Approval

Purpose:

• Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Combat Systems Analyst, Sr who will be a key support to the CVN Readiness Operations Center.

Job Description:

• Collect, review, integrate and anal CSMPs, CASREPs, INSURV, 0 visit reports and other data sources equipment reliability, maintenance

• Maintain in depth knowledge and facilitate CVN daily updates

• Maintain a comprehensive working references and standards

• Analyze the impact of ICAVs on the development of aircraft carrier AWPs in order to identify issues and provide recommendations through the ROC Cell Manager, ROC Manager and ROC officer. Provide assessments to reduce areas of growth and new work.

• Create guidance and requirements for Carrier Readiness as required by co-coordinating with Codes within COMNAVAlRLANT for guidance.

• Assists with development of metrics as directed by the ROC Cell Manager, ROC Manager and ROC Officer.

• Other duties as assigned by ROC Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Degree in related field; BA Degree and at least 4 years OR Associates and at least 8 years OR HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of technical or operational experience.

• Must have extensive experience in Naval combat systems and weapon systems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prefer at least 15 years of experience.

• Prefer a previous Gunners Mate or Fire Controlman.

Security Requirements:

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel -less than 10%
• If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:

• Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.

• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.

• Communicating with others to exchange information.

• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $62,400 per year
