To provide customers with the highest quality service by providing consistent customer service and resolution in order to ensure timely Customs release of the cargo.

Provide and ensure a high level of customer service by developing and maintaining a strong relationship with customers. Prepare, analyze, and/or submit documentation to the appropriate agencies (U.S.

Customs, USDA, FDA, etc) in order to ensure they are in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to Customs. Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems which could delay the timely Customs release. Maintain relationships with customers and service providers to ensure the customers' service requirements.

Resolve billing issues for your customers and ensure that invoicing and vendor payments are billed accurately. Complete accurate data input or corrections into computer files.

High school diploma/GED. Proficient computer skills.

Strong cust svc, organizational & communication (written/oral) skills.

Strong knowledge of U.S.

Customs regulations & other federal regulations and requirements w/respect to CHB area of expertise.

CHB: proficient in H.T.S.

Classification & familiary with the harmonized tariff system and Customs rules and regulations. Three to five years of experience is preferred.

VIEW JOBS 2/2/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-05-03T00:00 Supporting Three Industrial Brokers: * Assist with projects and overflow for Senior Brokerage Assistants * Prepare documents including Request for Proposals, Letters of Intent, customer and prospect correspondence, reports, account invoices, etc. with direction from brokers and/or knowledge of company policies, procedures and best practices. * Perform administrative and office support functions and activities for multiple managers to include calendar management, meeting planning on and off-site, travel and expense management, filing and faxing. * Type, format and produce documents such as presentations, correspondence, standard reports in accordance with corporate governed standards and guidelines with an attention to detail. * Work closely with assigned brokers to leverage the deal process utilizing Dealio to enter all data and documents to create invoices. Prepare commission invoices and tracking transactions on Dealio * Participate in regular administrative and business unit meetings as requested to understand and facilitate client goals. * Provide support to broker team in various industry specific technology applications such as Dealio, CRM, CoStar, and PeopleSoft. * Provide ad hoc reports and spreadsheets based on specialty requests by brokers * Maintain and manage contact databases in Client First, Outlook and Excel.
