Overview
The Customization Manager is accountable for all day-to-day repack operations at the Indianapolis Distribution Center and Lockbourne, OH. This includes strict adherence to quality controls and standards for both manual and automated production, attainment of production targets, and management of associated materials and finished goods. Responsibilities also include auditing of daily operations, financial performance, management of quality-related rework. Availability, leadership and support of 3PL warehouse operations and sector QC in a 24x7x365 operation, is required.

Responsibilities
Working shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Specific Duties Include
Manage the process in collaboration with the third party repacking and display operations for food and beverage
Manage compliance with PepsiCo policy and procedures as required. Adherence to SAG and SOX controls as directed by internal audit
Work directly with 3PL production supervisor on volume capabilities, in and out of season including crewing requirements
Manage 3PL production quality with scorecard reporting
Weekly analysis of site volume capacity, with change communication to corporate planning team
Manage pack size production output for national planning model data
New item rate analysis with direct communication of approval to Cost Accounting
Ensure 3PL compliance with contract production agreements
Manage period cycle count process, ensuring successful completion per SOX controls
Weekly financial monitoring of all packaging material adjustments and count variances
Material replenishment for packaging materials
Direct purchase order creation, maintaining change requests for coordinator
Review and approve audited 3PL invoices prior to payment
Collaborate with repack planners to create successful production plans
Update and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures for production
Participate in corporate customization initiatives to standardize operations within detached DC network
Oversee all customer display promotions at the site level
Responsible for all service metrics related to production
Support site productivity goals including loss analysis and leading LSS projects
Lead all process improvement and efficiency efforts for site customization
Work with inventory control supervisor to manage any QA sorts requiring production line time or labor
Successfully manage all rework request volume
Execute any packaging initiatives communicated by corporate including, but not limited to e-commerce, new item qualifications, etc.
Overall finished goods management of the Distribution Centers.
Accountable for inventory financial gain/loss, old age management, GMR, and donation of finished goods.
Reconciliation of finished product, both produced and non-produced.
Ensure all certificates of destruction are completed.
Lead KPI management for finished goods-related activities.
Facilitate troubleshooting activities in SAP and WMS.
Possess knowledge of warehouse equipment, including LGVs, forklifts, and RFs
Troubleshoot work activities through technical knowledge of WMS system.
Support customer service and scheduling activities.
Support new materials and product testing.
Ensure SOP's are current and are being followed.
Support and maintain department skills, knowledge, and abilities through rotation and training.
Ensure the professional development of self, and salaried team.
Safety
Accident investigation for accidents and near misses for self and team.
Support safety requirements and initiatives for PEP and 3PL.
Quality
Understand QA manual decision rules as it relates to production and quality hold activities.
Exceed AIB, food safety requirements for the Distribution Center.
Customer Service
Support period and quarter-end shipment reporting requirements.
Exceed critical customer service KPI's (Product Availability and On-Time Delivery).
Costs
Establish and meet cost management targets, with focus on inventory control and finished goods waste.
Support department financial objectives by providing period explanations, as necessary.
Administrative
Support payroll and all other accounting functions.
Daily payroll, time, attendance, vacation, coverage, and scheduling for staff.
Demonstrate effective communication, motivation, and leadership skills.
Provide training and orientation for new employees.
Maintain in-office presence, professional approach and appearance for work activities.
Treat facility work teams with the respect and communication levels necessary to ensure professional working relationships.
Responsible for three direct reports (repack Coordinators), and several indirect 3PL leaders
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,200 - $96,000 based on a full-time schedule.
Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in finished goods planning, production operations, management or related field.
3-5 years of experience finished goods planning, production operations, management or related field.
SAP and WMS knowledge is a plus.
Experience in MS Office.
Analytical approach to decision making.
Ability to lead a team, and effectively work in a matrix organization.
Attention to detail, as well as ability to quickly flex and multi-task.
Availability 7 days/week, and before and after typical work hours, which are Monday
