Overview
In this role, you will help customers understand and make full use of the technologies available in their equipment and related services. You are someone who quickly understand technology and how applying it improves a customer's business results. This includes, but is not limited to, onboard telematics devices, offboard telematics software, productivity monitoring software, and the Cat Inspect app.
Note: We are recruiting for one open position and have advertised this position in multiple cities within our territory.
Responsibilities
Assist customers in the selection, installation, and use of machine telematics
Aid customers with the integration of telematics data into their operation
Show customers the value of telematics data through live demonstrations and training events
Support internal sales force in selling telematics to customers for their equipment fleets
Support customers as their fleets become increasingly digitally enabled
Support customers with applications which help them better understand and use telematics data or inspections
Track and report on key metrics
Aid in developing an action plan for connectivity and digital growth goals
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Advanced PC skills with the ability to learn and teach others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Track and report on key metrics
Enjoy working as part of a team and with customers.
Strong problem- solving skills.
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Willing to travel up to, 25-50% of the time
Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency, exceeding customer expectations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to create and deliver effective internal and external training
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Prior construction or related industry experience preferred
Prior equipment management experience is a plus
Prior telematics experience is a plus
Basic mechanical ability helpful
Knowledge of Excel a must
