Simpay is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join our Technical Support team. Technical support is responsible for providing email and phone support to our customers and agents remotely on a variety of payment terminals, gateways, and POS software/hardware. The successful candidate for this position has an entrepreneurial mindset coupled with technical support experience and can provide exceptional customer service to ensure all issues are resolved quickly and completely.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems through proper troubleshooting and sound judgments based on your understanding of the product
  • Respond to call and email queue support requests for hardware and software application support (restaurant & retail).
  • Document all tasks and client interactions in internal systems, and follow appropriate escalation procedures
  • Assist in drafting documentation
  • Participate in the rotating schedule for on-call shifts for holidays.
  • Role responsibilities may shift when necessary to align with the direction of the company or department.

Requirements

Preferred but not required:

  • 1 Year Technical Support or Help Desk experience.
  • Knowledge of computer and network hardware and peripheral equipment
  • Experience in hospitality functions and restaurant Point-Of-Sale software is relevant but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • A problem solver who can work independently in a flexible team environment.

Work Environment

This position reports to our location in Feasterville-Trevose, Pa. This is a full-time position requiring at least 37.5 hours/week (7.5 hour shift) of work. There are two shifts available: 9:00 am- 5:00 pm and 2:00 pm- 10:00 pm.
