The Customer SupportRepresentative is responsible for handling incoming client and vendor accountquestions for either a dedicated assigned set of clients or any current clientsutilizing our products and services, service issues, and requests, resolving anyissues through follow up with vendors and clients, and documenting interactionswithin our proprietary systems.

PRINCIPALRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Respond to incoming service related issues and questions:

  • Provide clients answers to waste service plan and general account questions.

  • Resolve waste service issues (e.g. missed pickups).

  • Manage service requests (e.g. ordering pull and return on a compactor).

  • Coordinate temporary service needs (e.g. bulk/appliance pickups).

  • Troubleshoot equipment performance issues.

  • Work collaboratively with waste hauling vendors:

  • Coordinate prompt, accurate response to service orders.

  • Resolve service issues (e.g. property damage, equipment damage).

  • Manage client support internal work activity report by ensuring all open issues and requests are resolved in time frame designated for each type.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/ABILITIES ANDMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Able to work in a team based environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • One year of customer service experience in a call center environment required.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions of the Customer Support Associate: * Possess general knowledge of payroll and benefits; including employment agreements, Federal, State and Local regulatory compliance, health insurance and 401K * Administering contractor on boarding and off boarding process; including new hire and rehire contractor paperwork and exit paperwork * Responsible for data entry, validation of data and data integrity for all information entered into PeopleSoft * Responsible for contractor payroll process; including collection, verification and processing of hours and timecards * Collect, audit and track contractor expense reports * Ability to understand and retain TEKsystems' business policies and practices in order support operations * Accountable for retaining a complete knowledge base of account/ client specific compliance requirements * Management of all drug and background requirements and entry * Main point of contact for troubleshooting and problem resolution involving contract employees.
