Position Snapshot

The Customer Support Manager at US Ecology is a trusted advisor to our retail support staff, customers, sales force and operations team. Organizing and guiding staff through all aspects of complex projects or high level customer concerns is a specialty of a Customer Support Manager.

Day in the Life

After conducting a morning meeting with your team, you can expect to:

  • Work closely with Sales departments and operations on pricing, scheduling and transportation issues.

  • Review customer calls to observe Retail staff's technical accuracy and conformity to company policies.

  • Coach, train and provide guidance to your team.

  • Interface with customers and coordinate with nationwide operations team to ensure projects are completed as requested.

  • Provide proposals in reply to customer's requests for services.

  • Recommend services to provide customers with unequalled service excellence.

  • Provide recommendations to standardize procedures to improve efficiencies.

  • Make decisions on how to schedule and coordinate transportation services.

  • Completes audits from customers

  • Guide staff in arranging 3rd party services, preparing profiles, and completing service quotes.

  • Partner with the Sales team to assist and advise on contract revisions or scope of work changes.

What you need to apply

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, i.e. Environmental Science, Chemistry

  • Moderate computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office Suite)

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in the hazardous waste management industry

  • Experience with Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) and other applicable local, state, and federal regulatory bodies

This role is responsible for driving customer traffic, increasing SOGA, and ensuring brand health through store support tactics that amplify the national message within the area. This position organizes, coordinates and executes the Metro by T-Mobile promotional rollouts at the area level. Position will actively manage the dealer support funds to include dealer IDF and store level support funds, event funding for onsite events and assist with mobile (future) event planning & execution.Minimum required: * 7-10 years' experience leading a marketing function within a retail / sales organization * 4-7 years' experience leadership and people management * Proven track record with implementing a local marketing plan that includes multiple tactics * Ability to work in a matrix organization * A team player with a positive attitude towards customer service * A passion to be on a winning team * Ability to operate with remote work groups * Ability to travel Education: * Bachelor's degree Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership. * Responsible for all execution of local marketing and sales support to drive corporate and dealer store traffic * Execute hyper local, events and outreach efforts to drive corporate and dealer store traffic * Coordinate promotional rollouts in the field (local Field Readiness) by coordinating POP/collateral/promo blitz support * Drive participation, development of tactics and execution of the IDF program * Coordinate planning and scheduling of TMUS mobile truck program with the Regional and STR Marketing teams * Responsible for TMUS Mobile Truck execution at events and activation related locations * Partner with the Sales Team and Dealers to support and execute events at the store level * Provide dealer and corporate retail feedback to regional marketing teams around local market opportunities for quarterly and annual planning, including sponsorship and event needs * Provide performance reporting of the events and activations tied to Dealer investments * Recruit, lead and develop strong field dealer support & outreach team * Ensure best practices are shared throughout the Area * Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed T-Mobile Livonia MI
