Job Description

Postal is looking for an enthusiastic, driven, and curious intern to join our Customer Success team. This is an incredible opportunity to join a nimble, fast paced startup while making a significant impact on company performance in your day-to-day role. The Customer Success team is responsible for managing all Postal customers, ensuring that they see unparalleled value and ROI from their use of Postal. Our goal is to deliver exceptional service to our customers, ultimately leading to happy customers that renew year over year.

This intern would work closely with Postal's customers to ensure critical aspects of our services are provided at the highest level. They would also learn the key aspects of a software business, and learn the fundamentals of account management directly from the Director of Customer Success and members of the Customer Success team. This intern will also develop skills to use key tools, including Salesforce, Google for Business, Slack, and Wrike.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound communications with Postal customers, triaging and summarizing these emails to the appropriate teams.

  • Send proactive communications to customers informing them of their contract term renewals with Postal.

  • Meet with Postal customers to educate them on the capabilities of the Postal tool, while resolving their concerns in real time.

  • Identify expansion opportunities via email, when additional products or services will solve a customer need.

  • Create enablement materials for the Customer Success team to use in their day-to-day work with customers.

  • Researching trends in the offline marketing space, reading business publications, utilizing internal training resources, and taking guidance from your customer on how they have successfully innovated their offline marketing strategy.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Management, or currently enrolled in senior level Business Administration classes at an established university.

  • Ability to initiate, establish and nurture meaningful relationships with unknown contacts in a short period of time.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture

  • Flexible and adaptive to change in a highly dynamic work environment

  • Critical thinker, generally curious, problem solver, and unafraid to speak with radical candor.

  • Self-starter with strong ownership skills, willing to go above and beyond the job description without direct supervision or instruction from management.
