The Public Sector SLED Southeast Operation is looking for a high-energy Customer Solutions Architect with experience in digitization and IoT to become a team member supporting our State, Local Government and Education customers, driving world-class solutions using Cisco's product portfolio joined with our Eco-System partners.
The Customer Solutions Architect will act as the trusted advisor, demonstrating the business value of Cisco solutions, architectures and services by aligning opportunities with a 3 -5 year cross-architectural vision.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of the IoT Industry trends and market dynamics
Strong understanding of where Cisco is within the IoT realm
Ability to demonstrate business relevancy to key executive stake holders around new and emerging Cisco technologies
Ability to convert customer business drivers into strategic (long term) technical architectures solving their business problems
Develops business case for Cisco technology solutions for their customers
Substantial travel expected upfront, with continued focus travel following
At least 8 years of networking experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to orchestrate effectively across organizational boundaries
Demonstrated creativity and team focus in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
Ability to excel in an environment of high autonomy to produce business results
Customer facing professionalism - listening, ability to ask insightful questions, build consensus, advance opportunities to next level
Demonstrated ability to build alliances, grow team morale, and seek cross-functional support to achieve success
Understanding and framing client business and technical imperatives, and inspiring confidence with a variety of internal and external constituents

You will be working with Cisco field account managers, systems engineers, internal business entities and partners to plan sales strategy, develop proposals, and deliver customer presentations. Reports directly to: Sr. Systems Engineering Manager
