To support the rapid growth of our business, we are seeking a Customer Solution Specialist with strong business acumen to join the Denver global sales team in our Civil and Environmental (C&E) division.

The Role + Opportunity

As a Customer Solution Specialist (CSS), your role will be focused on helping grow and supporting our customer base in the North America region.

  • You will be responsible for managing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for the C&E sector in the North America region, including following up leads that result in our marketing activities and software license renewals.
  • You will be accountable for following up with users to encourage product usage and proactively assist to remove perceived barriers to adoption.
  • You will work closely with the Global Sales Manager (currently the GM is acting in this role) and Regional Business Development Manager to develop relationships with key influencers and build trust by demonstrating technical proficiency with target users.
  • Your role is a key part of establishing our C&E footprint in North America and significant travel is to be expected to ensure we retain a strong market orientation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you need to be task oriented, customer focused as well as the ability to provide well rounded technical assistance backed up by great product knowledge, quick response times, analysis, problem solving and solution finding. In addition, you need:

  • 5+ years experience in relevant technical field (Geology, Civil Engineering)
  • A University Degree in Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, Mathematics or a closely related discipline
  • Proven commercial experience ideally in the engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering industry (or equivalent)
  • Experience in commercial software projects or testing
  • Experience working in a large civil consultancy or ground engineering services
  • English language proficiency (Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.)
  • To reside in the Denver area and report to the office there
  • Flexibility for travel in North America and occasional travel to New Zealand

Job Duties and Responsibilities The Inventory Specialist manages the flow of material and equipment (satellite dishes, our award winning receivers and DVRs and associated hardware) in and out of the warehouse supporting both our internal and external customers. Skills - Experience and Requirements A successful Inventory Specialist will have the following: * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and will be compensated for overtime. * Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, may occasionally be required to lift up to 125 pounds. * Employees must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, and/or a forklift). * 50% of this role is computer based, must have intermediate level MS Office experience. * High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus. * Must possess a valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets DISH's minimum safety standard.
