Job Summary:
The Customer Services Representative acts as a liaison between members, potential members,

employer groups and participating physicians and their office staff, when applicable. The Member Services

Representative represents the Health Plans Division and its policies and procedures when assisting members and

others through inquiries, problems or complaints. The quality two-way communications the Member Services

Representative provides ensures quality services and appropriate problem resolution for all parties involved.

Job Requirements

Regulatory Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.

  • Associates degree preferred.

  • Three years' experience in customer service or similar public contact work related to communication, problem-solving and customer satisfaction.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.


  • Familiarity with health care delivery and/or health insurance programs.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to interpret and apply established policies and procedures. Must have excellent computer skills.

  • Ability to be innovative, take initiative and exercise independent judgment.

ABOUT THE JOB As a Financial Services Representative, your primary responsibilities will be to place outbound calls to and receive inbound calls from GreatCall customers that have accrued a past due balance to their accounts for the purpose of keeping our customers connected, safe, and healthy. RESPONSIBILITIES * Place outbound and receive inbound past due calls, adhering to all regulatory and organization requirements * Collect past due balances and/or negotiate arrangements to collect balances related to past due account balances using all provided collection tools * Work to retain all GreatCall customers, assessing all customer issues and making appropriate use of all available retention tools Accurately articulate billing and invoicing information to customers Review assigned accounts to maximize contact and collection potential * Track daily performance and progress toward monthly expectations and goals * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or GED required Experience: * Minimum 1 years of debt collection, sales, or customer service experience required * Outbound call center experience preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook * Ability to talk/listen and type simultaneously Personal Attributes: * Committed to ethical behavior * Committed to professional growth * Negotiation skills * Customer focus * Coachable * Results Oriented Offer of employment is conditioned upon successfully passing a pre-employment background check and drug test.
