Customer Service/Accounts Receivable - Charlottesville/Roanoke

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our office in central Virginia (with options for work in Charlottesville or Roanoke). Summary/Objective

To provide professional, efficient, and friendly service to all rent-to-own customers. We are considering candidates seeking full-time or part-time hours.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Answer phones and direct calls professionally and courteously

• Process Renter payments in software program

• Analyze Renter accounts and request corrections as needed

• Keep Renter contact information updated

• Assist in new customer set up

• Lead in contacting delinquent customers

• Assist in the preparation and mailing of MTR notices, late letters, and statements

• Perform office supply and post office errands

• Learn and become proficient in Rent Manager, or other software as necessary

• Adhere to company privacy policies, proper storage of files, and protection of customer information

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position; typical work hours will include shifts on Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Preferred Education and Experience

• College degree preferred but not required
