Work in a fast-paced call center environment. Responsible for scheduling and assisting customers with home delivery of their order(s)


  • Handle high-volume of inbound and outbound calls

  • Provide support in other call-center/customer service capacities

  • Work with business partners to assess customer needs/concerns and provide appropriate recommendations and solutions to ensure a world-class customer service experience

  • Effectively communicate with customers/care centers via email, researching and responding to inquiries as needed

  • Accurately maintain and update order tracking systems, appropriately documenting all transactions and pertinent interactions


  • Interview required as part of selection process

  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers

  • Strong telephone etiquette and written/verbal communication skills

  • Must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service

  • Must be able to communicate with many customers each day, maintaining composure under workload and pressure

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook

  • Availability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Monitor and respond to customer inquiries received via NCS mail boxes. <br><br> Make outgoing calls to follow-up on shipment status, resolve issues and update customers. Track, trace, enter and update shipments. Assist and support Pilot stations and cartage agents. <br><br> Follow published procedures and work instructions for NCS accounts and bring modifications to management's attention. Master outside customer applications. Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul><p>SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:</p><ul><li><p>High energy individual with excellent oral and written communication skills. Flexibility to cover open shifts due to vacation, sick, etc. <br><br> Ability to handle multiple priorities. Superior phone manner. Detail oriented.</p></li><li><p>Resolve customer issues. Contact station on-call personnel after hours when appropriate. <br><br> Work remotely to ensure necessary tasks are completed during business continuity. Escalate issues to management as necessary. File Service Failures. <br><br> Report transit delays. Provide pricing and rate quotes when required. Dispatch, route and terminate shipments as needed.</p></li></ul><p>Additional Job Details :</p><p>EDUCATION:</p><ul><li>High School Diploma</li></ul><p>EXPERIENCE:</p><ul><li>Internet savvy.
