Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Parts Distribution center in Bath, PA. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules. You will be responsible for receiving and entering new customer orders, as well as collaborating with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate updates for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Inquiries - answer customer calls and provide pricing information, delivery timelines, and product availability details.
- Order Management - receive, enter, and process new customer orders accurately into our system.
- Coordination with Purchasing - work closely with the purchasing department to gather pricing and delivery information for customer orders.
- Customer Follow Up - follow up with customers regarding their orders, providing updates on price quotes, delivery status, and any changes or delays.
- Problem Resolution - address and resolve customer concerns or issues related to orders, pricing, and delivery.
- Documentation - maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, order details, and correspondence.
- Cross Departmental Collaboration - collaborate with other internal departments (such as shipping and inventory) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Customer Satisfaction - ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional education or any certifications in customer service would be a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or order management, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office software and familiarity with order entry systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
