Customer Service Installation Technician

Summary: The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Installation Technician is to provide exceptional customer service related to warranty repairs or installations of various products. This role entails performing repairs, installations, and logistical tasks while maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams.

Essential Functions:

• Perform simple repairs and touch-ups following production installations in various trades.

• Execute minor installation tasks during or following the production process.

• Carry out simple logistical tasks related to production installations.

• Address builder and homeowner requests promptly and effectively.

• Initiate claims and oversee the claims process with vendors.

• Inspect and diagnose product and installation issues.

• Schedule employee technicians and independent contractors to execute appointments.

• Confirm completion of appointments.

• Conduct repairs and replacements of three or more materials as needed.

• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance as required by State law.

• Experience in one or more trades such as Flooring (tile, carpet, wood, LVP), Cabinets, Countertops.

• Proficiency in repairing and replacing tile, wood, and LVP flooring.

• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and production teams.

• Strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods (8+ hours).

• Minor lifting and carrying may be required.

Work Environment:

• Work will be performed at construction jobsites and in office settings.
