The Customer Service Support Specialist is an integral part of our mission to enhance the customer experience throughout the automotive performance industry. Responsibilities revolve around product support through a variety of communication channels including email, phone, instant messenger, support help desk, etc. Those that excel in this role typically have previous phone support experience, a diverse automotive background, superb organizational skills, and proficiency in regards to computers and technology.


  1. Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  2. Identify and overcome obstacles for increasing customer satisfaction
  3. Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  4. Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  5. Improve customer order and retention by utilizing strategic thought and providing unique and relevant solutions
  6. Decrease customer response time to retain current business and increase customer satisfaction
  7. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolutions are achieved
  8. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  9. Take the extra mile to engage customers

You'll be working full-time out of our Cottage Grove, MN location.


40 hours per week. We're open 6 am - 6 pm M-F and, depending on the position

NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 8 SCHEDULE: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; 12 months STATUS: Full-Time TO APPLY: Complete an on-line application and attached a cover letter and resume. POSITION SUMMARY: Act as an effective member of the Technology Support Center Team through maintaining professional working relationships and providing day-day support for South Washington County Schools technology systems. This is the first tier of a multi-level Technology Support position. The primary focus of the Support Specialist will be supporting and maintaining all technology solutions in assigned buildings and assisting and training building staff as appropriate. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: * Install, configure, troubleshoot and repair a variety of technology equipment in a multi-vendor environment. * Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing networking issues. * Provide primary technology support and training for building and district administrative, educational, and support staff via phone, email, or in-person and escalate issues as necessary. * Maintain inventory of building and district technology. * Ensure availability and clear communication with building personnel to coordinate activities and resolve issues and concerns. * Research and evaluate new technologies and software and pursue relevant professional development. * Additional responsibilities assigned based on skill and interest as identified by the incumbent. This list is not inclusive and is updated based on the evolving needs of South Washington County Schools: * Assist in developing and maintaining district-wide training materials * Assist in providing technology training and coaching * Assist in building level 1:1 technology initiatives * Assist in the maintenance of District Computer Image and Application distribution tools * Assist with Windows Software Updates * Assist with Active Directory Object maintenance * Assist in User Account Creation and Removal * Assist in supporting integrated voice and data communications systems. * Other duties as assigned. JOB SPECIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, LICENSE, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES): Required: * Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals. * Experience working in a mixed-platform environment. * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Experience with 1 or more of Windows, Mac, or Google products and system methodologies. * Demonstrated ability to work independently to perform responsibilities effectively and efficiently. * Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to manage concurrent projects, motivate professional staff, and manage time. * Strong analytical problem solving skills * Aptitude and enthusiasm for learning and teaching new technologies * AA/AS degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus one year relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Prompt, regular, and reliable attendance. * Exceptional customer service orientation. * Communicates with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships. * Demonstrates an appreciation of diversity in all interactions and job functions.
