The Clinical Client Services / Customer Service Supervisor supports the Customer Operations Director and Department with supervision, training and development of the Clinical Client Services customer service team.
Supervise employees and determine personnel needs; interview and evaluate potential hires; communicate disciplinary actions or improvement plans; maintain employee work/PLB schedules; evaluate performance of employees; Communicate expectations.
Mentor and guide direct reports as well as other team members within the department
Leads weekly team meetings; attend and participate in interdepartmental meetings as requested
Partner with Project Specialist to ensure departmental training needs are met
Review and assist with development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's); ensure employee compliance
Assist department management with delegating and assigning projects and meeting department objectives and goals
Build strong interdepartmental relationships/partnerships
Travel as required for client meetings and/or training
Serve as primary department contact in absence of director
Perform duties of all roles supervised as necessary (e.g. if short-staffed or fluctuations in volume occur); organize work to maintain efficiency to ensure all critical tasks are completed daily
Administer MedTox/ LabCorp policies consistently and fairly
Partner with Medical Drug Monitoring Sales team for continued growth and understanding of all products and accounts
Share on-call supervisor phone responsibilities with other customer service team supervisors
Develop strong relationships with LCA Core Lab personnel in all divisions
Provide support and assistance to IT and clients establishing interface result reporting
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
3 years relative experience; in Customer Service, Laboratory Science or Health Care
Strong conflict resolution skills
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with both internal and external customers
Proven ability to lead by example
Strong business acumen
1 - 3 years of previous supervisory experience
Knowledge of the federal drug and alcohol testing regulations and internal systems/processes
Basic Clinical Laboratory knowledge
ScheduleMonday -- Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm
