Job Description:

Accountable for the smooth and efficient operation of the front lobby desk function, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the facility. Professional Accountability - Support mission and vision through professionalism, commitment and accountability. Often interacts in stressful situations with patients and their families. Registers patients accurately, efficiently and professionally to ensure database integrity and facilitate claims processing. Performs routine clerical tasks to facilitate completion of department work.

Requirements

Experience:
2 years of Demonstrated use of conflict resolution skills required preferably in healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Education:

Associates Degree or additional 4 years of relevant experience without degree.

  • Some training in healthcare field and conflict resolution

  • Excellent proven communication skills both oral and written.

Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Computer skills.

Strong decision making skills.

Preffered/Desired:

  • 2-3 or more years

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Training in healthcare/customer service.

  • Certified Medical Interpreter.
