Handle customer requests including orders, pricing, samples, literature, MSDS, spec sheets, etc.
Responsible for the invoicing process, investigating short payments, processing adjustments with approval.
Accurately maintain data in SAP database including pricing, discounts and customer master information.
Assist Sales Reps to ensure our customer's needs are handled in an accurate, timely manner.
Work closely with Sales Reps & Product Managers to ensure special prices are current and accurately maintained in databases. Ensure accurate documentation for SOX compliance.
Support plant customer service reps with any customer issues including order processing, pricing and SAP processes.
Investigate and coordinate responses to customer questionnaires with Sales, HSE and Quality.
Respond to internal and external auditor requests for information.
Ideally previous exposure to import/export processes (International sales).
Minimum requirement of a AA or AS degree in business or related discipline. 5 years minimum additional customer service or similar experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of five (5) year's customer service/sales support/sales experience.
Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Proven ability to put customer needs as the highest priority.
Must be proactive, work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities while handling multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve conflicting priorities.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Excellent analytical ability.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and use of analytical tools are required; SAP experience is a plus.
Experience with or demonstrated ability to learn to utilize on-line data mining software.
