As a Customer Service Representative for Spee-Dee Delivery, you are responsible for receiving, investigating, and responding to all customer inquiries regarding shipments, service and concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Confers with customers via telephone or email in order to trace packages, arrange deliveries or to obtain details of complaints or compliments
Contacts customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
Acts as a liaison between customers and drivers to resolve delivery issues
Communicates with the claims department and branch managers to resolve discrepancies
Retrieves manifests and other shipper information to aid the process of tracing shipments
Documents and records mis-deliveries, follow-ups, and alternate delivery addresses
Obtains customer feedback information
Performs other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Customer service, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Work requires basic computer knowledge
Professional telephone etiquette and good listening skills
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and telephone
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
