Job Purpose:

First interface to customers to provide a world class customer service to both existing and prospective customers.

Focusing on creating cordial and conductive customer relationships.

Key performance areas:

  • To act as first point of contact for customers from enquiry to order.

  • To work closely with the sales team and support them to achieve sales objectives and improve the sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and develop existing business in line with customer segmentation, rules, and procedures.

  • Plan and issue sales orders to the shop floor system in a timely manner to support customer promise or required date.

  • Perform follow-ups and/or expedite past due orders as necessary.

  • Communicate closely with Customer, Planning, Sales, Methods, and Production Management.

  • Coordinate and issue purchase order for outsourcing as required.

  • Provide sales data statistics and reports as needed.

  • Cross train within Production Control department to be a backup for others.

  • Maintain Sopic P SAP and Dynamics.

  • Work and Communicate with Customer/Sales regarding open orders / Expedites.

  • Ensure compliance with the Site's quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

  • May Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and Organizing: Planning and prioritizing work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks.

  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Generating, evaluating, and implementing solutions to problems/ seeking and developing solutions and/or opportunities.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional presence; communicate effectively with positive attitude; prioritize, plan, and manage assignments; network with colleagues, customers, and clients to build amicable relationships.

Your profile:

  • 2-3 Years' Experience with customer relationships, along with working in a Mechanical Or Process Industry Preferred.

  • Proficient in excel, word and Power Point is also needed.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
