Overview
Milton CAT is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This is a potential fast-track position, with a goal of providing you exposure across our entire parts operation and into a Parts Counter or Supervisory role. This will include operational tasks (some administrative), working with customers, processing orders, coordinating with facilities vendors, learning our parts counter operations as well as solving customer inquiries. If you are highly driven, love heavy equipment and want to build your career, we want to speak with you.
Note: Occasional weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
Become the face of our organization, engaging, directing & solving problems for our customers
Process incoming calls and customer inquiries
Assist in expediting and locating orders, research missing/wrong orders
Assist with organization and optimization of our parts pick-up kiosk and dock area
Assist in processing core returns, new part returns and warranty part returns
Assist with and then excel at our Parts Counter operations
Process electronic and ecommerce transactions
Take on an increasing leadership role on the Parts Counter and Warehouse
Progress either to the Parts Counter or into a Supervisory role
Qualifications
Prior parts technical knowledge is strongly preferred
Solid business acumen a strong plus
Strong customer service skills, retail experience a strong plus
Fast-paced, highly driven, ability to work under pressure
Excellent organizational/administrative skills with an ability to multitask
Solid with technology, able to grasp new technology quickly
Works with a sense of urgency and with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills, articulate
