PALFINGER is searching for a Customer Service Representative to assist customers via phone and email regarding parts, pricing and availability for location. We are located in Council Bluffs, IA and this position reports to the Regional Spare Parts Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and in-person regarding price, availability, and substitution parts.

• Ensure proper entry of customer orders, confirming all required details are present and communicating additional requirements to dealers when necessary.

• Provide dealers with the latest parts delivery status and shipping information, and expedite back-ordered parts.

• Educate customers on spare parts department policies, sales orders, and return policies.

• Collaborate with the Service/Shop Manager and vendors for required production support, providing parts application diagrams and photos when necessary.

Your Qualifications

• Five years of experience in an industrial product's spare parts sales environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a diploma or certification in a technical field or Customer Service is preferred.

• Understanding of spare parts operations within dealer parts and service department levels.

• Ability to provide the best available solutions and effectively communicate with dealer staff through questions and concerns.

• Profient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
