Customer Service Representative

OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Livonia , MI !

As a Customer Service Representative , you will be responsible for reviewing daily work orders and invoicing customers according to the service provided . You will promote organic growth of the product segment through fast and accurate responses, interchanging OTC products where possible and applying pricing directives .

What You'll Do :

• Timely review and invoice of all completed work orders .

• Managing and tracking outgoing purchase orders to vendors.

• Resolving billing disputes as necessary .

• Ensuring inventory accuracy.

• Acting as subject matter expert for all key products within the segment: researching and answering technical product or system queries to internal staff, coaching internal sales resources as necessary, etc.

• Acting as Service Support - central dispatch, customer follow up, lead generation, and warranty administration .

• Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Demonstrated technical expertise in specified product segment

• Computer software skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe PDF and Infor SXE)

• Ability to work in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment

• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail

• Sense of urgency; responds to requests in a timely manner.

• Strong (email, phone, web and in person) communication and customer service skills. (Prior experience in a customer service role preferred).
