We're Seeking a Customer Service Representative! OfficeTeam has an excellent job opportunity for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative looking to expand their career.   • Manage the fielding and sending of important written business correspondence

  • Give exceptional customer service in a timely fashion

  • Receive and place telephone calls

  • Through your success in the role, you will support business development and client referral goals by actively cross-selling and referring customers

Requirements

  • Supportive, positive attitude with a detail oriented demeanour applied to all tasks

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

  • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Proven computer skills

  • 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven customer-focused environment preferred

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office knowledge required

  • Customer service experience

  • Demonstrated talents in communicating and interacting with clients/customers, both internal and external

  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research

The PRN Pool will work flexible, traditional and non-traditional hours. These positions are PRN, meaning as needed, but you can work up to 32-40 hours per week. Work hours after a 60-day, full-time training period are 9:30am-6:00pm for 90 days. Minimum of 16 hours a week required The team offers: * 6 weeks of paid full-time training required The Customer Service Call Center Representative provides clear written and verbal responses to patients who have concerns about their insurance explanation of benefits and Cleveland Clinic billing statement utilizing templates and scripted responses. Use revenue cycle knowledge to identify and resolve issues related to registration, financial clearance, insurance company authorization requirements, billing, insurance company explanation of benefits, provider based billing, governmental requirements, HCAP/FAP polices and restrictions, MyAccount, coding, collections. Collects payments and ensures that the dollar amount is posted to the correct debit and according to the patient request. Offers payment options to patients as needed. Recommends and executes policies and procedures in conjunction with respective supervisor to ensure timely and accurate resolution of patient billing issues. Responsibilities: * Provides clear written and verbal responses to patients who have concerns about their insurance explanation of benefits and Cleveland Clinic billing statement. * Utilizes templates and scripted responses. * Uses revenue cycle knowledge to identify and resolve issues related to registration, financial clearance, insurance company authorization requirements, billing, insurance company explanation of benefits, provider based billing, governmental requirements, HCAP/FAP polices and restrictions, MyAccount, coding and collections. * Multi-tasks with multiple computer systems to communicate with patients and investigate, resolve and document patient inquires. * Identifies and resolves patient account issues across the organization. * Collects payments and ensures that the dollar amount is posted to the correct debit and according to the patient request. * Offers payment options to patients as needed. * Other duties as assigned. Education: * High school diploma or GED required. * Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred. Certifications: * None required. Complexity of Work: * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Work Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer facing role with in person or phone contact. * Associate's Degree may substitute for up to one year of the stated experience. * Bachelor's Degree may substitute for up to two years of stated experience. * Working knowledge of Windows applications is strongly preferred. Physical Requirements: * Sit at desk and key on PC. * Must be able to operate and tolerate a headset.
