As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support Medicare eligible retirees across the country. Your goal as a Customer Service Representative is to be an advocate for our clients and assist them with enrollment issues, general questions and concerns, and facilitating their Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA). You will spend a large portion of your day in phone conversations with clients investigating and resolving issues in a fast paced team environment.

The pay for this position is $15.00 per hour and the assignment concludes in January 2021. Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.

What you need to succeed:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • College degree or some college a plus

  • Prior call center experience is a plus but not required

  • Must be able to complete a paid two-week intensive virtual training program and pass a final test; training covers computer systems, Medicare, enrollment, fundamentals of a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), compliance regulations, and more.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office

  • Technical proficiency; ability to manage multiple open computer windows and learn new computer systems

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and detailed correspondence, procedure manuals, and applications

  • Professional and courteous communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously in a self-paced, self-motivated team environment

  • Ability to type 35 words per minute

Work from home requirements: Equipment provided!

  • All applicants will be required to have a separate confidential and distraction free workspace so you can focus on delivering excellent customer service to our participants

  • The applicant will secure and be responsible for paying their own internet expenses to include a minimum upload speed 5 MB/s, preferred upload speed 25 MB/s and a minimum download speed 25 MB/s, preferred download speed 50 MB/s

  • Wired Ethernet connection that meets upload and download speed requirements as noted above

  • Applicants will be required to work during their assigned shift time which does include specified lunch and break times

  • Hardware and software requirements and additional guidelines provided during the interview selection process

  • You must be a current resident in the state of North Carolina to be considered for this role

The incumbent provides the highest quality of service to every customer. Primary Responsibilities: Provides timely and courteous service by processing paying and receiving transactions in a professional and efficient manner, answering customer questions and referring customers to the proper department in such a manner that customer and department feedback is positive. Promotes the sales referral process by pro-actively greeting customers, identifying customer service and product needs, making appropriate referrals and assisting in the selling and cross-selling of Bank products and services to meet the banking needs of customers in a courteous and professional manner. Identifies and achieves individual weekly referral goals set by the Branch Manager. Performs various operational duties such as balancing traveler checks and money order settlement, balancing the ATM, monitoring video camera operations, balancing official check settlements, ordering Deluxe checks and deposits, ordering office supplies and maintaining the security checklist accurately and timely, etc. Maintains daily transactions and balances to them according to established schedule by researching outages and balancing a drawer accurately and timely without assistance. Processes deposit accounts by obtaining required documents from the customer, inputting data into the computer and preparing appropriate paperwork to open or close account according to established policies and procedures accurately and timely. Processes loan products by obtaining all documentation needed for approval such as a credit report, title search and collateral evaluation forwarding documentation to Credit Support for the processing of documents and distributing loan proceeds. Provides back-up assistance to the Head Teller and assists less experienced tellers, acts as a go-to Teller based on experience and skill level. May also be assigned some or all of the following: coordinates the operational functions of Tellers by scheduling work, providing direction, monitoring workflow, assisting with balancing transactions, maintaining daily cash items and approving and cashing negotiable instruments within pre-approved limits, vault and teller cash drawer amounts. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
