Customer Service Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 2-3 months with possible contract to hire

Description:

  • Communicates with customers and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and chat

  • Greets customers warmly and ascertains reason for calling

  • Promotes positive customer interactions and high levels of customer satisfaction

  • Identifies, addresses, and resolves issues in a timely manner

  • Utilizes computer technology to manage service issues and requests

  • Suggests solutions concerning or relating to customer orders

  • Takes payment information and other pertinent information

  • Updates customer account information

Education:

  • HS diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Order Entry Hospitality Coordination Return Goods Processing In-coming/Outgoing Customer Communication Reporting (manual and automated) Ideal candidate will be organized, able to multi-task and prioritize. Should be able to work well with a small team and under minimal supervision. Position works in multiple computer software programs. Beginner Excel experience required. Salesforce experience preferred.

The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. They love to talk. Customer service representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. Customer feedback is priceless, and these CSRs can gather that for you. Problem-solving also comes naturally to customer care specialists. They are confident at troubleshooting and investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer complaints. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.</p><p><br></p><p>Pay is $14/hr with target compensation between $30,000-$45,000 within your first year.</p><p><br></p><p>Located in Southwest Charlotte.</p><p><br></p><p>Temp-to-hire position to evaluate mutual fit. Goal is to find candidates eager to become a permanent hire after approximately 4 months of training and performance.
