Our Customer Service Representative I - Temporary is responsible for accepting customer orders for replacement parts, determining customer requirements and expectations, processing, customer orders, and coordinating with production control, shipping and warehouse personnel to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements. This position will direct workflo within the order center to insure customer needs are being met.
This position will serve our Air Division, located in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Receive and process orders via fax and EDI.
Provide order information and encourage proper purchasing habits on the part of the customer in order to facilitate more economical scheduling of plant production
Advise customer of production and shipping dates as required
Take ownership of customer complaints and take necessary steps to prevent reoccurrence
Advise customers of published prices and product availability as required
Determine customer order requirements and expectations and coordinate with production and logistics
Maintain records of the production, shipping and delivery status of customer orders on record; maintain customer templates and customer profiles
Exhibit a high level of diplomacy, tact and service orientation to facilitate cooperation and goodwill when dealing with internal and external customers.
Have a working knowledge of product specifications and be able to communicate this information to the customer
Assist customers with request for replacement parts by advising them of the correct part number, based on the model and serial number and processing orders for required replacement parts
Utilize system tools to determine replacement parts cross-references, sizes and types as requested by customer
WHAT YOU NEED:
Associate degree in Business or related field
Minimum two years customer service experience
Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented development environment.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Must be self-motivated
Intermediate skills in MS Excel and Word
Online or electronic order entry skills
Excellent attention to detail - high level of accuracy is of critical importance
Ability to multi-task
Excellent analytical skills
Strong organizational skills
HOW TO STAND OUT:
