Customer Service Representative I, Battle Creek MI4075 West Columbia AveBattle Creek, Michigan, 49037United States Career OpportunitySeeking a Customer Service Representative/Logistics to be located at our Box On Demand/Battle Creek, MI. location.The Customer Service Representative/Logistics receives and processes routine customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered. The CSR/Logistics maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff. Incumbents use knowledge of products and product availability to provide a communications link to the customer. They will also have oversight of the shipping and receiving operation and also will be involved with ordering and maintaining inventory. The duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and generally require originality or ingenuity. The position works under minimal supervision.How you will impact WestRock. Record and process orders and/or inquiries received by mail, telephone, and/or through customer personal contact. Checks and approves credit within established limitations and confirms orders. Obtains resolution of routine customer complaints and issues. Serves as communication link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness. Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems. Tracks warehouse inventories and replenishments, handles shipping and receiving Creates plant manufacturing documents from customer specifications. What you need to succeed.Up to 5 years of customer service/customer relations experience. Excellent phone etiquette and courtesy, professional communication and customer relationship/service. Strong computer skills especially with Excel. Logistics and/or inventory control experience highly preferred Good ability to perform math functions including working with fractions, manipulating and recording figures to provide accurate quantities. Must be detail oriented. Warehouse management experience preferred. Relevant college coursework completed a plus

Corrugated and/or Packaging experience a plus Experience dealing with customers within a manufacturing environment/industry; ability to operate with the customer's best interest in mind.
