As Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative, you are a key member of the team and represent Glass Doctor on sales and support calls. You are responsible for proactively generating sales as well as handling service requests and customer complaints. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and results oriented with a high level of work intensity and a bias for action. You are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day day-to-day basis.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

  • Receive incoming calls in professional and courteous manner

  • Perform marketing and sales functions to sell additional work and earn business

  • Complete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer complaints

  • Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the auto and/or flat glass industry is a plus

  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applications

  • Proficiency to navigate tablet based technology

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Professional appearance and personality

Position Summary: Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are responsible for receiving requests for quotations, orders, and lead-times from customers. CSRs prepare quotations on standard and non-standard items, write orders, and relay pertinent quote or order information to customers and suppliers. CSRs coordinate with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing service and support to customers and the Outside Sales Team. Primary Duties * Receives telephone, email, fax or walk-in requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from domestic customers, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors. * Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service. * Provides support to the Outside Sales Team. * Uses our business ERP systems to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and to make changes on customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information. * Track and follow up on inquiries, quotations and orders through our ERP systems. Works closely with supplier and warehouse expeditors regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments. * Ensure all required documentation is obtained and forwarded to customer. * Interface with our suppliers on technical, pricing and delivery issues. * Respond to inquiries in a timely manner with good phone selling skills. * Assist accounts receivable with payment and credit hold issues. * Assist in managing supplier relationships. * Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided promptly and ethically. * Generate and maintain accurate required documentation, including quotations * Address and resolve all customer requests and/or complaints utilizing a positive, creative approach. * Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction * Develop ideas that help MFCP improve customer service, systems and procedures. * Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area. * Adhere to strict Safety Guidelines. Basic Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required. * Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. * Strong computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus. * Must be a good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes. Must be a good learner who can assimilate product knowledge and skills as they are presented. * Experience with distribution and familiarity with our product lines, a plus. * Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities. * Maintain regular and punctual attendance. * As MFCP is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative team environment, employee must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions. * Previous background should include knowledge of parts and nomenclature as well as a demonstrated ability to work well with customers and suppliers.
