Position Summary:

As a Customer Service Fueler/Washer you are critical in helping to keep our customers moving by ensuring their vehicles are fueled up, safe, and ready to go. If you are motivated, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and interested in a stable career, you can join our team of over 6000 vehicle repair associates at hundreds of locations nationwide, many of those who started in this role and developed to become diesel technicians.

You will collaborate with a high-energy, driven team as you build a solid foundation in our vehicle maintenance operation. This opening is for Monday- Friday 3:30pm to Midnight and will also serve as a Truck Spotter.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • A valid driver's license is required.

  • The ability, interest, and willingness to work outdoors required

  • A positive, customer service attitude and effective communication skills

  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred, demonstrated past problem solving, tool usage, and repair experience

  • Basic computer skills required for data entry into Penske maintenance systems.

  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

  • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training are required.

The Material Handler II will be responsible for all material handling needs, primarily picking warehoused parts and delivering to assembly areas to ensure efficient production. Work closely with production lines to ensure full utilization of people, materials, and equipment to meet customer demand. The Material Handler will be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. This position reports directly to Materials Manager or Supervisor. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Regular and prompt attendance and the ability to work schedule as define and overtime as required. * Works under general supervision on a wide range of assignments that require a substantial knowledge of the discipline or function. Follows established procedures, processes, or policies, but is expected to use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions. May participate in project teams or lead portions of projects. * Has a thorough knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and processes in the applicable discipline and has a working knowledge of related fields. * Provides resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems. Exercises judgment within procedures and practices in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions. * Contacts are typically with the supervisor and other members of the team or immediate organization but may be outside of this in order to complete the assignment. May represent the team on projects and interface with customers. Impacts of errors normally have implications requiring additional resources. * Maintain fork lift daily inspections * Maintain stock area * Accepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments. Participate in team meets and exchange job related information Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * 2-4 years' experience.
