Summary:

To provide Exceptional Customer Service to the customers of the Methacrylates group of Evonik Cyro LLC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct business and operate at all times with safety, environmental and industrial hygiene concerns as the first priority.

  • Respond in a timely manner to orders and inquiries from customers via email, phone and fax. Coordinate with Logistics, Supply Chain, ESHS, Marketing, and Sales Departments as necessary to provide information to customers and process orders. Notify customers of delayed delivery.

  • Accurate entry of SAP sales orders (domestic and/or Import) & Samples in regards to pricing, product, delivery date, sold to/ship to account, and other pertinent details.

  • Maintain sales orders with respect to changes requested by customer, production schedule changes, and shipping delays, etc.

  • Ability to oversee our customer service email boxes and fax server.

  • Utilize UPA, ME&C and other databases for customer prices and product information and coordinate/manage the Z block report

  • Responsible for 100% phone coverage.

  • Respond in a timely manner with providing feedback on status of forecasted orders.

  • Utilize SAP to determine Inventory and Customer/Product Relationship Information.

  • Able to process and participate in QN (Quality Notification) investigations as needed for determination of corrective action.

  • Create and maintain customer profiles required to manage daily business.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent work experience in a Chemical Company

  • 2 years customer service experience.

  • Working knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word & Outlook.

Working Conditions Must be able to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours or more per day). Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds. Moderate noise levels in a work area that may consist of artificial lighting with or without air conditioning. Exposure to ink and related chemicals, fumes, and airborne particulates such as paper.
