Cloud Operations - Customer Service Representative

Summary of Position:

The Cloud Operations Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling inbound customer calls in a fast paced, dynamic IT Service Desk environment. The Cloud Customer Service Representative is expected to provide world class customer support to facilitate a high degree of customer satisfaction for all Cloud customers on a daily basis. The Customer Service Representative will collaborate with other DXC Concerto Service Desk team members to resolve requests efficiently and escalate priority issues.

The Cloud Operations Customer Service Representative will be expected to participate in team building exercises and develop strong team member and customer relationships. The Cloud Customer Service Representative will proactively look for ways to keep all time productive and will use non-customer time for personal training, internal projects and administrative tasks. This position reports to the Service Desk Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer calls in a timely manner

  • Create and accurately document tickets

  • Create various administrative reports to ensure accurate and timely record keeping

  • Follow defined processes and procedures for the Service Desk

  • Maintain continuous, open, consistent professional communication with customers, peers and management, and apply active listening to check understanding

  • Strive to learn new methods and technologies and apply knowledge gained to daily work

Minimum Requirements Education, Skill & Abilities:

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

USAA training programs include classroom instruction, computer-based lessons, and instructor-led activities with systems simulations. * Employees attending training are expected to meet USAA's established standards for performance, attendance and conduct. WORK SCHEDULE * Availability to work a 5 day/40 hour work week between 7:00 am - 10:00pm (Local time) to include a Permanent Saturday or Sunday. * A 30 percent Shift Premium pay would apply to work hours scheduled after 6pm, Mon-Fri & all hours on weekends. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * High School Diploma or GED equivalent. * Up to one year of customer service in a retail and/or financial services environment. * This position will/may require a Property and Casualty license. You must pass a licensing exam and have the ability to become licensed in all applicable states. USAA will provide the study and training environment to assist you with the licensing exam. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS * 1 year of customer contact experience in a needs-based sales environment * Military Service * Experience in a fast-paced contact center environment * 6+ months experience frequently communicating (minimum 60 percent of the time) with customers by phone, e-mail, and/or face to face.
