JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Order input for both CA and AR facilities. Send order confirmations back to customers in a timely manner.

Provide response to customers timely. Collaborate with production team in AR to ensure changes are communicated.

Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Understand that I am responsible for reporting food safety issues observed so appropriate action can be taken. Actively participate and support the 5S and MES initiatives.

1.60 Retrieve customer POs from fax, email, web, or EDI daily. Input

purchase orders following procedure for both Los Banos and Osceola facilities. Send confirmations to customers using the appropriate/required method.

Provide timely responses to customers. Ensure orders are entered accurately into the Macola system to prevent shipping errors.

2.10 Communicate with Sales team on customer service issues and provide solutions.

3.10 Communicate customer service issues with Customers and provide solutions. Keep all team members abreast of any updates to resolve any issues.

4.10 Monitor and maintain all items purchased thru co-packer to ensure sufficient inventory is available to fill customer orders. Generate POs to co-packers as necessary.

5.5 Back up for Logistics coordinator on a necessary basis.

6.5 Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

or assigned by Supervisor.

POSITION DIMENSIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Internal Contacts:

KIU/KGM Management, Supervisors, Production Personnel, Shipping, Sales and QA/QC Departments.

External Contacts:

Customers, Distribution Warehouse Personnel, Vendors, Freight Brokers and Forwarders, and Government Agencies

Education Level:

High School Diploma or equivalent, AA Degree or Vocational Degree with an emphasis on business administration.

Years and Type of Related Experience Required:

Two years of customer service experience in an administration environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Interpersonal and Communication:

Excellent written and verbal skills in formal and informal settings. Individual should be able to conduct him/herself professionally, have a high level of integrity and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency.

Good communication skills thru phone/e-mail. Perform duties with minimal supervision.

Technical and Analytical:

Strong computer skills with a vast knowledge of MS Office, Windows, and Internet.

Administrative and Operations:

Excellent time management skills must be self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks with attention to detail. Team Player. Planning and problem solving abilities.

Physical Demands:

Sitting at a computer terminal, standing, and use the telephone for long periods of time.

Work Environment: This is a Safety Sensitive position

Working in an office environment with moderate noise levels and interruptions. .

Special Equipment Used:

Specialized Computer based software, PC, 10-key calculator, fax and telephones.
