General Summary

As a Family Dollar Customer Service Representative you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers. Key priorities include greeting customers, assisting them with selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer engagement in positive and approachable manner.

  • Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience.

  • Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.

  • Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store.

  • Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.

  • Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation.

Position Requirements:

Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.

Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation .

Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse RN is responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the physical, psycho-social, and rehabilitation needs of the residents. DUTIES for RN Registered Nurse Supervisor 1. Responsible for assessment of resident needs, development and implementation of comprehensive care plan. Consults with residents' physician in planning resident care. Periodically reviews and updates comprehensive care plan. 2. Works with interdisciplinary team members in developing a discharge plan for individual residents and assists in achieving discharge planning. 3. Communicates and acts as a liaison among residents, family, physicians, and staff. 4. Conducts resident rounds to assess and/or supervise nursing care, assess condition of residents, and safe, clean, comfortable environment. 5. Audits staff nurses to ensure that all resident care systems and processes are followed per policy. 6. Reviews all closed charts of expired resident and ensures appropriate documentation by nursing during the last 48 hours and discharge orders by physicians are enclosed (to contain how and where discharge - i.e. to funeral home via stretcher). Reviews discharge summaries of all residents. 7. Conducts periodic reviews of Care Plans to ensure they are interdisciplinary and updated by the Charge Nurse as changes occur. SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS for Unit Manager RN Registered Nurse: 1. Maintains a current, valid license as nurse in good standing. 2. Possesses a minimum one (1) year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in such areas as rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. 3. Possesses strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care. 4. Possesses good communication skills and is patient and self-disciplined. 5. Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
